This listing is for nickel silver sheets. Nickel silver, also know as German silver, is an alloy of nickel, copper and zinc. Nickel silver is much more durable than silver. It is corrosion resistant, tarnish resistant, works well and polishes to a bright silver like finish. Nickel silver has the same feel as sterling silver but is much cheaper. These nickel silver sheets are typically used by artisans who cut or punch their own tags or discs when jewelry making. This is great for using to make hand stamped jewelry or hammering to make cuff bracelets. Nickel silver contains no silver.
